The Reg Gray Shield

  • In the 2011 - 2012 season Pauline's, Bob's and Sheila's team each lost one match with Bob's Team running out the winners by just two Victory Points. In the handicap Philip's and Sheil's teams each lost one match with Philip's team winning by 5 Victory Points.
  • The Reg Gray Shield is awarded annually for our Teams of Four Competition.
  • Eight teams battle it out over the winter months at the Bowls Club in Tring.
  • Bruce Graham is the Director and organiser.
  • Jack Martin arranges the accommodation and catering.

  • We meet every Monday at 7.20pm until 10.30pm at the Victoria Hall, Tring. Play starts at 7.30pm.
  • We are a non-EBU Club with a relaxed approach and aim to provide a good standard of Duplicate Bridge in a friendly environment.
  • Awards - a cup for the top of the half-year ladder - a plate for the "most improved"
  • Table Money - Members £2.50 - Visitors £3.00 - Membership £5.00. Includes Tea/Coffee and biscuits.
  • New members should have progressed beyond the beginner stage and be able to maintain a reasonable but not fast rate of play.
  • New players, whether or not new to duplicate, may wish to read the Guide to Duplicate at Tring Bridge Club before they come for the first time.
